The middleweight title is on the line for an electrifying main event between current champion Drickus du Plessis and former champion, New Zealand’s Israel Adesanya.

Dates and start times reflect in-state broadcast commitments on ESPN. Fans attending UFC 305: “Du Plessis vs. Adesanya” at the RAC Arena should plan in person for a Sunday morning start time (August 18) in AUS, with the first prelims beginning at 6 a.m. AWST, 8 a.m. AWST The late prelims continue, followed by the UFC 305 main card lineup at 10 a.m. AWST.

Erceg is the No. 9 ranked fighter in the official UFC flyweight rankings, while Cara-France is listed at No. 4. Erceg is coming off a May loss to flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoza. Meanwhile, Cara-France rode a two-fight losing skid, falling to Brandon Moreno in their July 2022 interim title fight and dropping a decision to Amir Albaji in June 2023.

Also on the main card is a lightweight bout between No. 5-ranked Mateusz Gamrot and No. 11-ranked Dan Hooker. Gamrot is riding a three-fight winning streak since dropping a decision to Benil Dariush in October 2022. He is 7-1 in his last eight fights with the UFC. Hooker is riding a two-fight winning streak, most recently defeating Jalin Turner via split decision in July 2023. Hooker is 4-4 in his last eight bouts.
